How it all started
Miniature House began on a rainy Sunday in 2021. Hannah Brooks, our founder, sat down with her very first miniature kit, a small Victorian dollhouse, with no plan beyond passing the afternoon. Hours slipped by. No notifications, no rush, just glue, tiny wooden parts, and the quiet satisfaction of watching a little world take shape. She never looked back.
At 36, after years of crafting in her spare time, Hannah turned that feeling into a mission: to help more people discover the calm, focused joy of building something real with their hands. Miniature House was born to bring carefully chosen DIY miniature kits, and clear guidance to build them, to crafters everywhere.

How we work
We write every build guide and kit review ourselves, drawing on hands-on time at the workbench and feedback from the Miniature House community. Hannah selects and tests each kit before it goes in the shop, then describes it by material (wood type, laser-cut or hand-cut parts, included tools), origin, and finished dimensions so you know exactly what you are ordering. Each piece of content goes through a second read before it publishes to catch gaps that would leave a builder stuck mid-step. We do not make claims about therapeutic outcomes; we simply share what it feels like to sit down with a small wooden world and lose an afternoon.
