How long does a build take?
Build time ranges from a few hours for smaller kits to 8 to 12 hours or more for detailed models. When a time estimate is available, you will find it on the product page.
What age are the kits for?
Our kits are recommended for ages 14 and up. They contain small parts, glue, and detailed assembly, and are not toys for young children.
Do they include lights and batteries?
Many kits include a warm LED light. Batteries (usually AA or a USB power source) are not included unless the product page states otherwise.
How do I care for my finished piece?
Kits are made from wood, paperboard, fabric, and acrylic. Keep your finished piece out of direct sunlight and away from moisture, and dust it gently with a soft brush.
Do I need special tools?
Most kits need no extra tools. A few suggest simple helpers such as scissors, tweezers, or a craft knife, which is always noted in the product description.
